Seto Bike Taxi is a family-run transport service created to make cycling the Shimanami Kaido easier, smoother, and more enjoyable.
Founded by a Fuchu native with deep roots in the region, Seto Bike Taxi combines local knowledge, warm hospitality, and dependable service for cyclists exploring the Seto Inland Sea.
After spending 10 years living in the United States, our family returned to Japan in 2022 and settled back in the area. Through local work in cycling, tourism, and customer service, we saw a clear need for more flexible, rider-friendly support for visitors traveling the Shimanami Kaido.
That is how Seto Bike Taxi began.
We understand that traveling with bikes and luggage can be stressful — especially in a new country. Our goal is to make the experience simple, smooth, and welcoming from the first message to the final delivery.
Seto Bike Taxi offers clear English communication, flexible pickup and delivery options, and personal service from people who know both the region and the needs of international travelers.

私たち家族はアメリカで10年間生活した後、2022年に日本へ帰国し、この地域に戻ってきました。サイクリング、観光、接客に関わる地域の仕事を通じて、しまなみ海道を訪れる旅行者にとって、より柔軟でサイクリストに優しいサポートが必要だと感じるようになりました。
